Pastor Thad submitted the following resignation letter to the Board of Ministries on January 20, 2012:
Dear Board of Ministries:
It has been a tremendous joy for Kim and I to serve at Bella Vista Community Church these last seven years. Community Church is a special congregation. We have grown to love each of you. We believe God has special plans for this wonderful congregation.
We also realize there are times of transitions in all our lives. At this time we feel we are being led to serve another congregation, First Baptist Church Coffeeville Mississippi. We did not seek this position and are not unhappy in any way in our ministry at Community Church. No one has asked us to leave and we have felt no pressure to leave.
We believe this transition will allow us to minister in a different setting, be closer to our family and above all else, be in the center of God’s will for our lives. After discussion with Board Chair, Frank Taylor, we set the date of February 19th as the effective date of the resignation, pending board approval.
We pray God’s richest blessing on Bella Vista Community Church. We love you dearly and we humbly ask for your prayers as we make this move.
